Did you ever figure out what critter was growing on your BAR gunner?

Joe

Thanks for asking Joe. It's some mould, but I don't know the name. Just yesterday I noted it's coming back, despite the figure being under a dome with dehumidifier bags! I now bought a dehumidifier machine to actively pump the water out of the air. Hope that will help. Good news is the mould can be washed away with a water/vinegar mix without damaging the figure.

Cheers,
Adrian

Thanks Scott! Something I didn't mention was that this was the first time I used some Jo Sonja paints along with the Andrea and Vallejos' on the flesh tones. I'm really liking them!

Joe

You won't look back mate!
What colours did you choose for your flesh palette?

Compliments of season to you & yours,
Mike

Good to know that there is no permanent damage!

I live in the south western part of the US and it is hot and dry in the summer. Winters are mild. Late summer during our monsoon season we did get some very heavy rains that on one afternoon my back porch got completely flooded. Anyway, later I was sitting on a swinging bench we have out back when I noticed those very critters dangling from the underside of the arm rests. Right away I remembered your post!

You're right Mike, I'm liking them!

I used skin tone base, burnt sienna, napthol crimson, vermillion, cadmium yellow lt, plum pink, and French blue. All this was used along with some of the colors in Andrea's Flesh Set.

Merry Christmas to you and yours!

Joe
