It would be a rare model show or contest that didn't have vendors.
A lot of any show's overhead is paid for by vendors leasing tables.
Yes, there will be vendors.
As to which ones, there probably won't be a list of vendors until much closer to the date of the show.
The MMSI page will have more information on the show as it gets closer.
I'm sure one of those responsible with the club will be able to answer your questions as soon as they have the information.
I'd go to the source.

Chicago show has vendors on each side of the exhibit room. They also have vendors outside the hall.
I think they have a nice variety of vendors.
Jim is right, vendors play a big role in a show.

If you go to the MMSI webpage, they'll have the announcement about the hotel rooms when they're available. There's a link in the upper left for 'The Chicago Show'.

Check it regularly for updates rather than depending on non-club sources.
Right now it says that check back for more information in mid-2016.

It was mentioned a while ago in another thread about the show, the hotel will have a block of rooms for a special rate if you book under the MMSI/Chicago Show aspects.

If I remember from two years ago, the reservations for that block of rooms were available sometime in the late spring or early summer.
You can book a room now, but it won't be at the 'show rate'.
