Account Upgrade

I would like to become a contributor to this great forum but I do not have a paypal account nor do I wish to create one. Is there a way to pay for an upgraded account other than paypal?

I have enjoyed my time here and learned much over the past few months and would like to do my part to keep this site going.

You shouldn't need a paypal account. Most paypal now just mean you type in your debit card details for a one time payment. It's only the receiver that needs the account, that's how my business one is. Maybe a mod can confirm for you.

That's all I do. I've bought tons of stuff on e-bay etc. and paid for my support here on PF via Paypal. I've never set up an account as I don't receive money I just send it. After you sign up for Paypal (not the same as setting up an account), you can complete the transaction using money from either your bank account or your credit card. That's up to you at the time of the transaction. It's easy and safe as well as it doesn't cost a penny.

Great idea of yours to given something back to support the forum , like the guys said it's easy enough to do so we all look forwards to seeing you becoming a PF supporter .

Thanks for the response guys but this doesn't help.

I do not wish to deal with Paypal at all.
Their policy regarding the banning of certain transactions (firearm parts) is contrary to my strong support of my countries 2nd amendment.

Is there an address and company name that I could simply write a check too?

Is there an option that another member of PF with Paypal can do the transaction for you and you just reimburse them in whichever means you choose, just a thought.

Your argument and that of other us gun toters is a sound one matey.
I've seen all the evidence of the need to self-protect.
The 'Tremors' earthworms, the Terminators Aliens and shopping malls full of zombies,
A very scary all too real threat man all vanquished by privately held guns,
go to it and maybe more two years olds will shoot their mommas in-store too.
It all makes perfect sense to europeans, truly it does.
