Just a thought, have you contacted Airfix to see if they have any in their spares stock they may sell for such a project?

Yes Graham, many times over the last few years have they received requests for both spares and or the re-release of this wonderful range of kits.
Unfortunately they seem to be uninterested in anything without wings anymore.
My last email remains unanswered.
Even the guys from the IPMS special interest group , 'The Airfix SIG' hold out little if any hope.

I know where there is one . but its in a wee shop in Ingolstadt in the top shelf .it was closed the day I seen it or it would be in my possession

Paul,

Now I would double check that certificate again if I were you obviously all fakes !...

..MAD as a box of frogs you are ...but what better way than to finish this off and then be dragged off to a nice soft play cell!

What a project this will be and what a result it will be ...watching out for this so think about a SBS young man !

PS now I see why you only wanted these figures mate

Cheers buddy,
Seriously it doesn't feel like as bic a project as some are saying.
Try this logig, If I made the berline that I have already bought, it would have to have someone to accompany it. So I make the staff group in the centre in that mindset.
The group on the left.... I was given a cannon, and the four horse team from historex agents and the limber where a silly cheap price deal..
A red lancer doesn't take long, it's just a mounted figure with four foot figs around
And a wall of grenadiers... Well imagine how much enjoyment I'm gonna get from making
10 of one figure in styrene into individuals as per the painting.
Simple, three dioramas over the course of next year, and accumulate everything now.
I will do some form of sbs for sure, goodness knows how many parts it shall be though.
As miranda hart's mum says, "This is what I like to call fun".
(And even though you were rude, I still liked your reviewyesterday).
Croak croak mon brave
Vive les esgaots en carton

Hi Kermit ,

It will be an amazing project reminders me of the groups of figures that I saw done by Sid Horton far too many moons ago based on the Lady Butler painting ( I think!) of The Return .

Keep at it me old green skin coloured fellow.......RIBBIT RIBBIT

Ok here's a suggestion;
Airfix are trialling 'Kit Starter'(see what they did there?) on their forum,
let's all join(oh wait, I did already) and swamp them!
There seems to be quite some support for the range, although admittedly the wingy things (and I don't mean the blue tits...)are winning by miles.
http://www.airfix.com/uk-en/forum/54-mm-napoleonic-figures/?p=1

I guess they want nominations for individual kits so all the support is being diluted, but maybe we can stir something up?
