Has anyone used AK Interactive weathering products? Are they any good, and can they do anything that can't be done with oils and pigments?
Thanks,
Carl.

They have some really nice washes/filters.
I have there new engine weathering set, it comes with a great oil stain looking mix, and the best metal pigment I have played with.
Their quality is easily on par with mig, if not exceeding it.

Streaking Grime and Winter Streaking Grime... what's next, premixed shadow colours? Oh, wait a minute...

Seriously though, to think you can do every effect that 'filters', premixed washes and weathering paints using just basic paints and a little ingenuity.

I totally agree with this. These products are very expensive and are standard colors. It is so much more fun to mix your own colors and blends and create your own special (weathering) effects.
For example the MIG Oil stain color is easy replaced with Raw Uber oil and gloss ore Tamiya Smoke acryl and gloss.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to comment chaps.(y)
