Yes, and black lead (for old style cooking ranges, grates etc)... can you still get it?

This kind of cooking stuff is still in production and in great use in good restaurant you can use them directly on the fire then direct in the oven

And for black ( graphite) pencils they are still made by billions today

Not quite sure what you mean about using "directly on the fire then direct in the oven" (do you mean cooking pots and pans?). I've seen liquid black lead in the UK for years (but there again I've not looked, but still can't see any online). I remember we used it on wooden swords, papier mache helmets etc as theatrical props: it gave an authentic metallic sheen.

Graphite (but probably not lead) pencils are of course available... as you say, in their billions :)

Yes I was refering to iron pans
Now about " liquid Lead", I was a bit confused, in fact it's a paint that can simulate lead wen used on windows
