Some work on my latest project depicting three subjects from The Alamo and the War of Texan Independence. L to R, volunteer, ex-US Army, New Orleans Gray and Alabama Red Rover. 1/12 scale, in my usual Milliput and Duro, still lots of work to do.
I've been working on these in between other projects. Still a lot to do, detailing to be added, etc. Three subjects from The Alamo, New Orleans Gray, Alabama Red Rover and US infantryman, Milliput and Duro over resin dollies, 1/12 scale approx.
I have two Osprey books on the subject, Kev, The Texan Army 1835-46 and The Alamo And The War of Texan Independence 1835-36. These are not based on specific pics but on an amalgamation of ideas.
It's the small detail pieces that make a sculpt and these are lookng really good now , if these go commercial someone will have a good set ...and different
Perhaps we might see a painted version from your bench
