Hi all,
I put the finishing touches on my Valkyrie today. It's the first piece I've managed to complete in the last 10 months or so.
As always it's all painted in Reaper acrylics except for the metals which are Mr Metalcolor. I had fun with this one and tried to paint her a little different from the box art colour scheme.
As always feel free to comment or critique honestly. (Sorry for the camera work only have the iPhone camera at the moment)

Thanks for looking in,
Andrew.

Very nice Andrew. I love the translucent effect of skin through her trousers.
If I might suggest an oil paint wash over the armour of black or burnt umber will give it more depth.

Good job on getting her finished sir. It looks a little like you rushed her near the end just to get her finished (I do it all the time too). The wings look incomplete as does the fur of her cape. I agree with Gellso about the armor to give more depth. Welcome back to painting sir, you have been missed.

Thanks for the comments guys. I did notice the wings and fur, it wasn't rushed it was just poor execution of an idea. I'll have to go back and fix them up.
It feels good to be back painting again.

Andrew.
