Yeah they rub it on their feet to get a better grip when running away from randy scots italians :D

No need to run from this one ,still hobbling along with a busted knee.
Went to the hospital today for a pre op check and got a £40.00 fine for not parking in a designated bay ,why me I ask!! considering there were cars parked half on the pavements in their car park ,at least i was on the tarmac

Great work Derek. I really like the "feel" you've created, this fellow seems like he means business. I am curious about this pumice as it looks very fine. Do you think it would work as snow, seeing as it takes colour so well, or would it be too course for that?

Hi Glenn how's tricks are the girls still dancing?
As I'd mentioned some of the sculpting is a bit 'soft' but it's sharp where it needs to be and where it's not, so long as you paint it as having had a bad day at the office it works out well.
I think it would do quite well as snow but you'd probably have to add a bit of sparkle/flake with something like micro balloons.
As to being too coarse, it grinds very easily and if you scrape it off the block by running a penknife blade in a cutting/slicing motion you get various grain sizes.
What it would make is brilliant slush. laid on PVA white glue then mix some up with the glue and use it as a 'putty' finally when dry use stained gloss varnish to create a muddy puddling effect in say footprints or cart tracks..........I'll give this a try when I get round to the Pegaso Marcomanni.
Take care
Cheers
Derek

That's dedication Del lets hope you never do a full version of Isandlwana or you'll pass out from lack of blood :dead:
