A superior, fine sculpture, a well balanced and natural pose, and something that looks like an early war (1939-1941) German, thank you Mr T ! (y)

I looked up some info about the PzB 39, as far as I understand from this info (correct me if I'm wrong please) it was an early war weapon which was effective against early war ( = lighter armoured) tanks (British Mk VI, Russian BT-7). When the Germans encountered T-34 and KV-1 and -2 tanks, it all of a sudden was much less effective.
So this man could certainly be a Waffen SS soldier in 1940 in the West or in 1941 during Barbarossa. Maybe in 1941 in Greece ?
The PzB 39 seems to have been most common during Barbarossa. Production of this weapon was stopped in november 1941 - remember, by then the Germans would have encountered the T-34.
 
Taesung Harmms is one of the very best sculptors working today. I just wish that he was interested in releasing sculpts of other periods of history as well as the WWII items. Fantastic figure.
