Thank you David, it was a nice change but definitely not a new direction.Lovely work, Simon!
Lots of character, a nice paint job. And a very interesting subject.
The spilled beer & tankard are a lovely touch.
I can sympathise with the sciatica, I started with it when I was 30 having prolapsed a disc. Even after the second surgery it didn't get any better, hasn't left since then and left me with chronic back pain. Only now it's scar tissue causing the problems. Ended up having to leave the Army because of it, and had it ever since. It's a really nice figure.
Head has recovered, at long last. Only to be replaced by f...king sciatica.
Two hrs' kip every night!
Hope the steroids work, they do for most people, beats going under the knife that's for sure. I never tried rubbing beer in to help, but hey if it helps!!It's grim, for sure.
Injection coming (steroid), and hope it will be effective.
Beer helps...
Cheers Steve it was an enjoyable project, disappointed though he's really nursing that beer!Just catching up, Simon, superb finish, Amigo!
