Gentlemen,
Here are a couple of pics of the 1:35 scale Alpine early war figure.
He is done now and awaiting his "ride",... that is a PZIVD which I am currently building.

Hey Arthur,
a great improvement in painting and photography, the only thing looking strange is the blue of the glooves, but the figure is really nice, especially the flashtones.

Daniel,
I am glad you like it :)
I paint with oils over acrylics. This particular figure had charcoal (very dark grey) as a base with shadow and highlites done in black and light grey oils.
Boots were done in light grey acrylic and black oil for shading and do look different in real life.
Unfortunatelly the camera does not pick up the subtle differences in tone
Cheers,
A.

Arthur, that is a beautifully painted figure, I believe that the camera does not do it justice ;)

Keep up the good work.

Cheers
Roc. :)

Thanks,
Better lightbulb , ...same basic camera.
Gloves are more in the blue gray tone, way oversaturated on the photos :(

Arthur, nice job. If I might suggest adding a little more black to the deeper folds on the unifom.~Gary

The flesh tones and hi-lites are spot-on. I agree that your painting technique for the "black" uniform is indeed excellent as well.

Wow Arthur

This figure is very alive. And not to speak of your blacks. I like it a lot Arthur.
And the face so very nice painted. Great Job Arthur. I hope to see your next steps
very soon.
And I am very curious of your groundwork.

Greetings Dick ;)

Beautiful work Arthur!

Very well done, as usual :)

Love the black, love the flesh tone!
