Hello guys,Phil Walden has asked me if I would post some pictures for him of his latest work in progress,it is a Australian soldier at the battle of Amiens 1918.
morning folks, thank you for the good words, some thing l,ve wanted to make for years, time felt right..the scale is 120mm,commercial,l will have to paint him first just so l can see him completed as l see him..then out into the big bad world he goes..
must tank Spencer and John for their help in posting him....Phil..
Phil great looking work, just seen "Beneath Hill 60" & this helps provide a fitting tribute to the Western Front diggers (no pun intended ;-) Even thought of doing a kiwi tunneller?
John, trust you & the family are coping OK with the aftershocks. I've just got home so still got lots to get on top of so will be in touch when more time available.
Morning Mike..
just brought the DVD good stuff,..Mike,bro.yes any thing New Zealand, its in the blood, sitting replying you has given me a wee picture, the tension at a listening post to start.....thanks brother.
phil...
Movie is full of ideas Phil, some grim & sad, plus some amusing.
The young guy at the listening post detecting his heart beat is a poignant tale in the film, so can certainly see where you could go with this.
Look forward to one day painting one of your pieces too mate.
Please do keep on inspiring us.
