Hello all!

This is my latest work and my first bust model.

At first I was bewildered by the size (I usually make 75mm or 90mm), but as I start painting I really got into bust models.

I painted it in oil as usual.

Hope you like him!

Great work Konrad, as Kaz said I like a lot the softness of your transitions and textures. I think the colors are very well achieved and all the work is really clean.
I must note only one thing about the uniform. Are you sure about the color of the colback bag? By my knowledge ( Sources:Rousselot and Bucquoy) it must be blue as the dolman.

The 5th hussars Elite company's colback bag (flamme in French) was "bleu celeste" till 1808-1809, then scarlet.

Fantastic face painting.

Marc, Kaz, Andrea, Brian, Hendrik, Edorta,Pedro and Keith, thanks for your compliments!:)

Edorta, I was not so sure about the accuracy of the color of colback bag.
According to the instruction included in pegaso models 75mm captain of the hussars, it seems the colback bag is red. but I had noticed there's a 5th reginemt hussar with blue colback bag.

Paul, thanks for your compliment and very useful info:). I'm relieved that I don't have to re-paint the flamme into blue.

Ben, Helm, Gary D, Ken, Joe, Nick, Mike, Langenberg and Carl, thanks for your compliments!:)

All your words are really encouraging me and I got energy for the next model waiting in my bench.
