Your use of light & shade has improved a lot since the last couple of figures Kyle; in fact I'd say it was better than mine is after years of trying!!

Well done.

I really enjoyed looking at these photos. I'm not sure what reference was used but your attention to detail has paid off. I agree that the shield is the standout as is your excellent shading.

Kyle, Very nice job on the painting. I bet that was an enjoyable kit to paint, it's well sculpted.~Gary

Wow, you guys made my week. Thanks for the gracious comments. I really did enjoy painting this figure. It's one that I bought as a vignette, mostly because I like the templar that is suggested as a match with it. But when I received the Arabian warrior and did a dry fit, I fell in love with it.

The tunic was most fun, but took a loooong time.

It's the first time I have painted a red-toned cloak, and that was a challenge!

In the spirit of the Olympics:

Dank je wel!

Thank you!

Thank you Marc - you are an excellent painter, and I have enjoyed looking at your work for some time, so that means much to me!

Dank je wel!

Re: Andrea's Arabian Warrior

Hi Kyle,

Your figure looks great...i love the artwork on the cloth!

I have the same figure and haven't started it yet.

One question...did you have to use putty to hide seperations between pieces? Just seems like a couple of the pieces don't fit perfectly!

Thanks,

Aaron
