I have quite a few anime kits, but have only built a handfull.

I find the kits I very dramatic and that is exactly what attracted me to this one.

Vash the Stampede, from the Trigun series, caught my eye the first time I saw it at the Atlanta Show.

I'm not a fan of animes, but I've seen seen some that are beautifully done, and yours is no exception. That coat is gorgeous!

how big is the figure/ what scale

I believe that it is 1/8 scale and about 10-11 inches high.

As a side note, I noticed at a local comic book shop that they carried a pre-paint of this figure. It was pretty nice, but I wondered, what's the point?

I will contridict myself now by speaking out of the other side of my mouth and say that I have purchased a Predator bust in pre-paint form. Just could not pass it up, but I am considering re-painting it.
