So here she is the notorious Anne Bonnie, About 99% copleted. Hope you like it and please feel free sto comment, suggest and criticize.
Take care.

Looks like you had some fine time painting this figure and I bet you really enjoyed it over all, because your version looks very, very good. Nothing to critisize, just staring on and enjoying fine details. Fantasic skin tones but I also like toning of the blue jacket, socks are very good handled, trousers and eather parts too. Lovely Dimitrios, lovely from the top to the bottom!
May I ask on your mix for the leather? Looks very good to my eyes.

Thank you guys for your comments. Glad you like her. I hate the way the last pic shows though. All whitish. Wish i knew a thing or tow about photography.
Robert this is the second attemp to paint leather parts purely with acrylics. I m pretty pleased with the result too. So for the basic mix i use Tamiya Hull Red and a bit of Vallejo black. Shadows as you can guess with more black to the mix. And then for first shadows i add a bit golden ochre to the base. Then second lights Vallejo Leather brown with Gilden ochre and for extreme or better for edging Andrea Yellow Ochre with Vallejo Leather Brown. I have not standardize the ratios yet though. Go with the eye. I bet there must be a simpler way but still stays a mystery to me. One day.... who knows.

What a beautiful job of painting this fantastic figure. . .

Wow, the latest shots are just wonderful. I love the way you've done the
jacket and then repeated that same blue tone in the horizontal stripes of the
stockings. Love those stockings. What a beautiful job you have done with
this excellent figure.

Congratulations,

Dear friends happy new year. I wish the best to you all. Thank you very very much for your comments. I m glad you like my version of this exceptional figure. Damina Calico Jack will be the next one on the bench. First painting attempt of for 2010. Hope it works well. Will post some progress soon, i hope...

Excellent painting Dimitrios. This vignette with Calico Jack is one of many figures Santa Clause brought me for Christmas. I shall keep watch over your next figure for when I do my two.
