Beautiful work Eduardo, i believe the tricorne is right.
Just keep in mind that there was a lot of shapes of tricorne hats and the shape and sizes varied from country to country, so nothing could say yours is wrong.
i really like the attention to detail, the work on the wood and the scenery and pose of the figure makes this one probably oneof your best works you've done in my opinion.
