Major General Gustav Baron von Berg, the grand great uncle of a friend of mine. Any one know of a model with this uniform (double breasted) that I can use to paint a figure of von Berg? My sculpting skills are terrible.

Have a look at the Model Cellar busts they do some nice pieces that might be of use
The picklehaube ....what about the Life Miniatures Hindenburg bust ?

Many thanks for suggestions Nap. I can't see any on these two sites that are a good match for the photo or that I could convert such as the Hindenburg bust - my conversion skills are considerably worse than my painting ability (I won't use skill in relation to painting as that would be an overstatement 
) Today I tried making a sword scabbard for an old Tradition 1st (Lieb) Battalion, Infantry Regiment 15 out of Magic Sculpt and failed miserably.
Really appreciate the rely and suggestions though.

Many thanks for your offer Pete. I have had a reply from Ulrich to my request. Unfortunately both figures are no longer in production. To make the figure of von Berg according to the photo of him sent to me I need the picklehaube as well, and there are none of the same scale on Ulrich's site. He only has the bare headed von Manteuffel.
I'll see if I can get the appropriate head.

Many thanks Pete, I misunderstood. I was hoping to obtain Roon and a separate pickelhaube head, rather than two figures, but that's now out of the question. I'll check with my mate and see if he is happy with the additional cost.

No problem..
If you need a pickelhaube without the cover and googles i have these figures, if your desperate i can try and get a copy of the head cast if you like, maybe you could mod it etc..
