Bit of a long shot but does anybody know who manufacturers these figures?
Cheers

Yes, they're bothe Redbox Games. Looks like a scene done by Honourguard (Oliver) and he loves using their figures. Hasslefree did sell them in the UK... just checked, and they don't anymore.

Thanks guys. Found a couple on ebay but by the time postage is added I question whether they are worth it.
Was going to do a wee project but I can live without it.
Plenty to be getting on with anyway .

They are still active on Facebook and are working on new miniatures... however; they're moving SioCast instead of metal. It's a thermoplastic (not resin like SioCast claim) and it's ideal for game pieces because it is slightly flexible. But, for display painting it's a load of rubbish. Cleaning up mould line is a pain because it doesn't sand well at all (it's rubbery) so you have to slice them off, which isn't always the cleanest way.

A real pity that thats how they're going. I have zero interest in wargaming or D&D stuff but have used figures fom their disciplines in a fair number of display pieces over the years.
Suitable pieces from GW for what I want have become prohibitively expensive, so I'm always on the lookout for well sculpted alternatives

These certainly look good. The problem is when doing a display piece you find one o two suitable figure in each set and the others join the embarrassingly expensive grey army.

Check the Hasslefree Miniatures and Bad Squiddo ranges. They sell more individual miniatures rather than ones specific for gaming/units. UK based (Wales and Nottingham). Miniature Heroes is another UK store worth looking at. They stock the Reaper Miniatures range and some others.

Check out Footsore Miniatures too. They more do historical gaming but it fits with the 28mm size and in small packs/ individuals too.
