i would love to go, but i dont think my car would make it, also i would probably arrive with my model in bits and last of all, my wife wont let me, is there anyone else with similar problems/badger

I've booked 8 nights in Stresa with the Show in the middle Marc and combined Holiday with Hobby, really looking forward to it. At least 3 other members of the White Rose Club Leeds also attending.

No. It must be around 20 years ago since I last intended a show and that was Northern Militaire in its final death throes. Travel and getting suitable hotel bookings is just too big a hassle for me.

Hi Geoff, I can empathise with that, we are driving to Stresa and the hassle is unbelievable, Medical Insurance, Breakdown Insurance, Accident Insurance, Maps, Not to mention being aware of the different requirements for driving in each country, reflective jackets, stickers, triangles, breathaliser kits, Motorway permits.............the list goes on...............probably our last trip outside of the UK so it had to be done:rolleyes:

I arriving on sunday at the camping after a two days drive. So I really can't make it. They have to change the dates for the WE.
September or October will be alot better.

I intend going from Friday evening to Sunday. In fact I'm off to arrange an extension to my Swiss railway pass in the way home this evening. Where are people staying? Any particular hotel?
