Hello Guys! I'm from Poland (Jacek Spychalski is may mate from the same city :) It's my first topic on this forum! I would like to show you my Terminator figure that I made 4 or 5 years ago in en "old fashion" oils style. The figure is painted with Talens oils and Humbrol enamels on Tamiya base. Unfortunately when I was shooting this photos I didn't shoot all figure. I can't do it now because I sold it few years ago :-( So only "bust" photos are available. I didn't paint figures since then and now I would like to come back to business. I also would like to try new acrylic techniques. I hope you will enjoy my work!

I will get one of my polish students to translate what I wanted to say tomorrow, but until then...

how the hell did you accomplish that? you must be from the new band of hyper realist painters. amazing work.

Hello Sergiutz and welcome to the Planet!

I hope Jacek have spoken well of us. ;)

I like your rendition of Arnold, is it the Horizon Vinyl kit? I have that one myself laying around primed and ready to go.

I really like how youve painted the soaked up artifical blood on the t-shirt and Im looking forward to see more of your work.

Cheers

Hi Sergiusz

A warm welcome to the Planet!

This piece is really excellent. I remember the kit from a while back, and I've seen quite a few painted up, but none as good as your version.

You can paint like this in oils - and you want to try acrylics?

I'm looking forward to seeing any other masterpieces you have got over there :)

Best regards

Phil

Hello!
It was so far ago that i dont remember how i made it :) Only few things I remember is that I used Talens-Rembrand Oils, Humbrols and Humbrol Metal Cote for metal parts.
Now I must do my home work with Vallejo... I fear this this paints a bit ;)

Yes-I would like to try acrylics because I think that my progress with oils is over. I can't do nothing more with them. I saw many great figures painted with acrylics-I just must try this! I can always back to oils :) After 5 years i come back to modeling. Now I'm building Revell U-boot (with crew obviously) then Dragon's Pzkpfw IV and after this project I will back to figures. As fast as I'll paint some I'll show it to you all.
Thanks and Best regards to all of you!

Sergiusz,
WOW! Nice work! You did a fantastic job with the bullet holes and the blood on the T-shirt. I'm an oils man, I hate to see us loose another one to the water based stuff (especially with how nice this looks)......but....show us more when you have fully embraced the "dark side".

Sergiusz,
Malowanie super, fantastyczne !

Pozdrawiam!
We were talking in our national language-sorry about it but it was very nice te hear polish on this forum. For those who don't understand polish: My countryman dissuades me changing oils to acrylics. I sad to him that I must try it-just try it ;)
BTW-How much guys do you pay for one bottle of Vallejho in USA? In Poland it's about 3,5$

Best regards!
