Uhu?
Hello,
just finished this little one, based on the following artwork of Arthur Adams. Usually his Bat renditions are way refined and clean but I liked the massive look of that sketch so here we go...

The original artwork

What scale and who will be selling him?

Hi Mate

Couldyou tell me what scale this is and who will be selling him?

Thankyou
Ryally

Thank you all guys. It is in 1/6 scale, almost 14" tall once mounted on the base.

Still uncertain about the kit, if interested will update that thread with the related info when so. If no taker I will issue a very few but the most sure not casted by me because the allergic reaction I have to resin.

From a sculpting point of view I dont like to use wire armatures and I hate to make cuts on the finished piece so in spite of its scale I sculpted it by parts, that will make the parts breakdown really easy. Superheroes have a very altered anatomy and sculpting each part just in relation to the previous helps me in getting the right whole composition (where right should be read in respect to the reference artwork/character, not from an anatomical point of view).

For this one I started from the bottom. To avoid the putty sticking on the existing parts I only used some tape, I hate messing with vaseline or other release agents. The forearms were the only part I cutted after modelling the rough shape. The following in progress shots will show you what I mean.

Hi Luca,

if you can get it cast please let us know how to get one.
I think it's one of the best batman sculpts ever seen.
I wonder what it would look like with painting done by several people, I think it would be a great canvas for different stiles.

keep up this great work, greetings Willem

After throwing some primer over the original sculpt this is the result..., sure you have enough room on your shelf...? LOL
