Ashigura

Hi all,

I am about to paint Ray Lamb's 90mm Ashigura figurine. I am finding it hard to find any information regarding this figurine on the web. I would apprciate if any member could direct me to the information I require.

Hi Donald,
I had problems myself to find info on that figure too, is on my favorites list and I did some research but found almost nothing. Fact is that thankfully isn´t too complicated figure. Unfortunately I haven´t seen the figure from it´s backside so I really can´t tell about it´s armour. Seems to be a hara-ate but could also be a haramaki too. The ashigaru carries a nagamaki if I see correct, it´s something like a naginata but with different proportions. I would recommend to take a search on Samurai on the web, there are some really beautiful sites to start with.
