A question for all of you ancient buffs.
I have a 120mm figure in front of me of Ashurnasirpal II.
My question is:
The guy has a fancy decoration on his chest, would this also be duplicated on his back?
The Verlinden figure has this decoration only on the front.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
This figure is in the Osprey Elite book on the Ancient Assyrians.
Obviously no one will have a definiative answer unless their name is H G Wells, however an educated stab would be a start.
