Mythology and or legend aesthetics are preferable to fantasy when they depict mythological subjects every time I would say.

Sounds like the transition from sculpting to painting isn't always an easy one, I find that it takes a little while for the muscle memory to catch up!😄

You're right, but the thing is that there's also a world of difference between the currently trendy fantasy aesthetic (World of Warcraft really did a number on the genre) and the illustrators of the classic fantasy authors who borrowed heavily from mythology and fairy tales.
In any case, Bran did a stellar job of making it a more grounded, tasteful piece.

Totally agree, for my money I love the work of Frank Frazetta and Chris Achelios.
