Thank you very much Cyrille. I am happy to have finished the modifications, some problems of realizations to obtain the good result required me a lot of corrections.Agreed with Adrian and the other comments, you elevated this to the next level.![]()

You found the right term Simon, mythology. Now there remains the most difficult and the most interesting, the painting....Like Adrian said, this is much better, mythology as opposed to fantasy.

Mythology and or legend aesthetics are preferable to fantasy when they depict mythological subjects every time I would say.You found the right term Simon, mythology. Now there remains the most difficult and the most interesting, the painting....
You're right, but the thing is that there's also a world of difference between the currently trendy fantasy aesthetic (World of Warcraft really did a number on the genre) and the illustrators of the classic fantasy authors who borrowed heavily from mythology and fairy tales.Mythology and or legend aesthetics are preferable to fantasy when they depict mythological subjects every time I would say.
Sounds like the transition from sculpting to painting isn't always an easy one, I find that it takes a little while for the muscle memory to catch up!

Totally agree, for my money I love the work of Frank Frazetta and Chris Achelios. You're right, but the thing is that there's also a world of difference between the currently trendy fantasy aesthetic (World of Warcraft really did a number on the genre) and the illustrators of the classic fantasy authors who borrowed heavily from mythology and fairy tales.
In any case, Bran did a stellar job of making it a more grounded, tasteful piece.
