Hi Pedro, thanks, also about the pictures. Now I 'just' have to keep it up....!

Hi Patrick, Hm, 17 would be very optimistic, but it would be fun to see so many Atilla's together. I expect the uninformed public would be thinking deeply what could possibly the reasons behind the popularity of this character.

Hi Eddy, thanks a lot!(y)

Hi Dimitrios, wow that is a flattering comment indeed, thanks a lot! I do think it is a bit too much honour though; I studied FeR's box art version extensively and it is much smoother than mine in several respects, particularly the face. I find my own transitions still on the rough side. But again, thanks a lot, you made my day! :)

Hi Eduardo, Thank you very much. You have a keen eye about that dark area. I still think about toning it down a bit (just as the transition towards the highlight under the eye), but am not sure if I have the guts to do so at this stage. I still have to detail the ears a bit, so have to mix the skin tones anyway, and may have a (carefull) go at it after all... :cautious:

Excellent job!(y)I also was fortunate to take Fernando's class in St.Louis. I agree with you, I wouldn't have the nerve to change the tones of the cheeks at that stage. From different angles the hallows of the cheeks makes the other skin tones stand out more. The ground work is a gem too and the cloak looks like real fur.

Hi John. Thanks a lot!

Hi Tom, so we share a happy experience! I'll see what I'll do about that cheek. It is a rather shallow, almost hollow place, but I do think it is a wee bit too dark. Thanks about the groundwork and cloak. Latter is acrylics with some washes/filters in oils.

Cheers,
Adrian

Hi, Adrian!
Well, I'm really glad to see it finished and very proud of seeing that the seminar was useful.
About the miniature, the results are very good. The lower shadow of the head can use a bit of softening, but don't forget this miniature is an exercise. Next one will be much better.
See you soon!
FeR

Adrian great finishing ! I love the flesh areas and like to see contrast .... I think in the flesh and viewing in scale the cheek areas look even nicer as when you enlarge contrasty pieces somtimes they appear to look over done.Looks great to my eye.
