OK folks, here is a link to my gallery of images from last weekends Atlanta show 2010! They are pathetic images, but they give you an idea of the great work that was on display. I tried to get EVERYTHING, including images of the work on display in the AMPS show down the hall. These images don't do the work justice, but will let some see what was there. There are over 550 images, so enjoy! (y):p:D;)

Jay could you go in and lable each of thos pictures with the size, sculptur, painter and what medium the painter used. Shouldn't take you too long. just kidding thanks for sharing your pictures really awesome stuff i am sorry I missed it.

I hear you brought home a gold medal, congrats to you for that.

Thanks for posting the pics, Jay! I know that it takes time to get the photos, and even more to upload them in Photobucket:eek:

You're probably getting lots of requests for the artists' names, so I'm sorry to add to the list, but do you happen to know who built the display that got the Best Toy Soldier award? It was the mirror-backed dio depicting preparations for the coronation of King Edward VII.

Thanks again for taking the time and sharing those with us, prost!

Brad, I'm sorry, but I don't recall who did the large display. All I can say is that it was a group from the area that put it together if I'm not mistaken. Hopefully one of the Atlanta crew will chime in. If not, and you can wait, it did win a couple awards, so it will certainly be listed in the awards section of the Atlanta site as soon as they have it updated.

I believe the toy soldier award went to the South Carolina club.

Matt

Thanks, Matt, and thanks, Jay! I'm checking at the Atlanta site every so often.

I suspected that the dio was build by SCMMS, because they build dios as a club, but I didn't see this one over at their site.

If it's theirs, maybe I can convince them to travel up for our show in May and display it.

Prost!
Brad

Hi Brad,
The dio was put together by the SCMMS. It won a couple of awards. I am working to post winners and photos on the Atlanta website. With any luck, I will be finished by the end of the weekend. I am will be posting photos of most of the displays with title and artist, and the awards. With a full time job, it does take some time. Please have patience. Thanks,
Pete
