Hey Girls and Boys,

As the 2017 Atlanta Show is rapidly racing towards us. We are taking this time to drop a few reminders in regard to the event. The Show dates are February 17,18,19, 2017.

First of all, you need to get your room reservations made if you haven't already. In order to get the Special Show Room rate this must be done no later than January 30 , 2017. After this date, there is no guarantee of getting the $96/night rate, or of even being able to get a room. There is a direct link on the Show Information page of the web site that will allow you to reserve your room with a minimum of fuss and bother.

Secondly, all Pre-registrations should be post marked by January 15, 2017. We can not insure that requests after this date will have time to be honored before the Show dates.

We are offering two workshops, on Thursday and Friday prior to the opening of the Show. This is February 16, and 17. The first of these is a repeat of last years "Painting Flats", presented by Bob Langenberg. Currently this session is filled, but we will create a waiting list for any who are interested. Our second workshop is "Painting Fantasy Figures" and is presented by Atlanta's own "Miniature Mistress", Elizabeth Phillips Bradford.. There are currently seats available for this workshop. If you are interested in either of these, contact [email protected] . Fees for both workshops are $125, payable by check, Postal MO, or Paypal. ( [email protected] )

As in past years, we will offer several seminars during the course of the Show. This year we will have renowned artist, Mike Blank, who will take us through the creation of his latest vignette from conception to completion. Elizabeth Phillips-Bradford will host the second seminar and whisk us into the world of fantasy and minis using acrylics. Additionally, the local Amps Chapter will also host seminars(s). Subject and presenter to be announced.

As a bonus this year, we will have Atlanta Grand Master and Chicago Medal winner, Matt Springer doing an exhibition of acrylic painting. This will be an ongoing event from approximately 10:00 AM until 5:00 on Saturday.

We hope that all of the above coupled with Vendor Rooms and tables of figures will make this one of our best shows ever!
