That will keep you busy for an hour or two.
I like your flooring.
You can make nice stone slabs from the lids of egg boxes. Cut them into squares/rectangles to whichever size is to scale then glue them onto your substrate, leaving a small gap between each 'slab'. I tend to paint them with acrylics in various greys and browns. Then dry brush slightly lighter. When dry fill the gaps with modelling sand or dust, then secure with something like gravel and sand fixer or dilute pva. When dry use brown, black and green inks to dirty it all down. Just my ha'pennyth worth.

Thank you kindly for that - think I just went the minimalist route using what I have to hand, cant remember the last time we had eggs in the house.

Still to do -

I still have the -

Wall to build that goes in front of the patio I just put down.
Extension to the wood store - side - front and roof, and raised up floor.
Work on building a graduated slope where the kitchen garden is - using layers of typing paper.
Fitting my Grass mat over this area.
Make and fit the hedge that goes from the stables to my extreme Right, level with the stables.
Purchase some more French 54th and 55th Line reg troops - paint weather - top coat then place these in the orchard.
Put some odds and ends like loose hats - muskets - backpacks etc scattered around.
Cut the French Cuirassiers off their bases and place the other side of the orchard hedge.
Place my pile of French casualties at the entrance to the Barn.
Finish off making my other single British Cavalry needs painting etc - then place him the other side of the garden hedge.
Place the Lunebourg division remnants in the garden along with a few 5th line KGL wounded.
Then make the trees and fit them in the courtyard.
Any any other bits of touching up where needed.

So yep quite a bit to do yet.

You havev quite the list there my friend,
As with everything in life, one step at a time.
You are doing great work here.

Smashing progress and I agree with what you said about enjoying it, even the nitty gritty stuff because then you know it was done right.

Cheers Simon

Awesome building, really like how you're doing this. One question though, how big is this diorama?

Cheers Simon

Wow, not that big he says, it's huge, I have seen large but only in museums and castles! Looks great though, I doubt I'd have the patience these days to tackle a project like that.

Cheers Simon
