Two weeks ago I attended the workshop with Fernando Ruiz in Eindhoven, the Netherlands and the figure we did was Attila, by Art de Girona.
After the workshop there was still plenty of painting to do, but I finished this one yesterday. Far from good, but another step closer to "better" ;)
All in acrylics

Thanks for your honoust comments, gents. Much appreciated.
@Alex, I think I know what you mean and I have been doubting a bit. However, considering the figure's stance and because he's looking down I wanted to give the impression of Attila really looking down on whatever he just stirred up, or is about to stir up. Hence, the high base.
@Peter...gewoon doorgaan :)
@Marc...see you Saturday. We are looking very much forward to AMSS' IPC this weekend.

Don't sell yourself short... this is a fine piece of work, definately one to be proud of!
Great colour choices, well executed ground work, very stong atmosphere.

Keep it up
Colin

So you're the first to get this finished! This turned out great Rob!
You managed to get the arms in the same style as the face. The jacket(?) and boots are very good as well.
I guess we'll be seeing some more Attilas over the next weeks....?!

Groet,
Adrian

Well i think you are the first to finish the Attila after the workshop!!! See you at the IPC with Attila ;)and great finish and love his arms!!!

big base:cautious: half that size would be the ticket. out of scale base can detract from a great paintjob like that... outstanding paint ..
