In addition, we would like to preview another 75mm piece which will be available next month. Also sculpted by Carl Reid, this is a follow on piece to our 75mm British Artilleryman. This one portrays a British Infantryman as part of a working party. He wears the waterproof cape and thigh length trench waders. This figure is patterned after the familiar photo of the working party waiting for orders in the rain at St. Pierre Divion in November, 1916 during the last phase of the Somme Offensive.

As we gear up for MFCA, which is right around the corner, we will have more new releases and previews at the show from Carl Reid, Maurice Corry, as well as WWI aviation topics from Mike Good, and more cool Crimean busts from Steve Leadley. Stay tuned.

Hope you like these =).
regards,
Paul

I agree with Tony, that Lighthorseman is a real beauty! Lovely sculpting!
I wish he came with legs though. Most of us Aussies have them...
Again, great work on two brilliant figures.

Both cracking pieces from Carl and looking forward to seeing some painted versions posted.

Tony when you add the legs will he also be sat on a horse. now that would be the ultimate center piece to any display cabinet. (y)
Cheers Ken

Two excellent new releases sculpted by Carl, congratulations all round. I particularly like the Work Partyman, great stuff, will look good all mudded up.
I think there must be a collusion between all the top sculptors to see how far they can "push the bar" as there have been some really outstanding sculptures released recently, happy days for the modellers! (y)(y):)

Two fantastic releases.

I often get asked to do larger scale figures and busts, my answer is 'why?' - how can I possibly improve on the larger scale WW1 stuff like these two that are available or coming out?

Brilliant sculpts that deserve the undoubted success that they will get.
