I have just finished this one and a few tweaks here and there and he is done.
This is the 2nd time I have painted this particular figure and it was a joy to paint.

Hi Bob

Lovely to see a piece from your bench , a company whose products are very good and obviously a pleasure to paint

Like that waistcoat , nice work on the pouches/waterbottle and overall presentation

Why not enter a piece into the class of your choice in our JUNE FOTM comp and also vote in MAY's classes as well

....And enter in Vignettes & Diorama #3 running till 31/01/22

Always good to see the artwork

Thanks for sharing

Look forward to the next

Happy benchtime

Both pieces are excellent Bob! I particularly like the waistcoats. Nice one. Regards Pete

Thank you Nap and Pete, you can see I love these figures. Thank you both for the comments.

Lovely work Bob. Beautifully painted.

Overall brilliant with some really nice touches, like the water bottle, rips in fabric and the well-worn cartridge box.

Jeff

Superb work - really nice.

Thankyou all for looking in on my work and the great comments. I'm pleased with the out come.
Tonton, some of the rips in the fabric are cast on, I only removed a button on the right cuff.
Thanks again.
Regards

Lovely piece Bob. Particularly like the skin tones on this version, very similar in tone to your recent US Dragoon.

Neal

Just getting the hang of flesh tones in acrylic paint. Ha Ha. The last one I did of these two looked a bit jaundiced.
Thanks for looking in.
Regards

Very nice work Bob. You get better with each one you paint.
I like the youthful face that you've achieved.
The waistcoats on both figures really set them off.

Cheers,
Andrew

The youthful face was more by pure chance than perfect painting. Thank you for the comment though, I appreciate that, thankyou.
