Hi everyone! Just to clarify, I work for John Rosengrant and his partners at Legacy Effects. We did a ton of practical work (designs, props, and several vehicle based-practical props) but I did not do any of the digital work. That was completed by Weta and several other digital effects companies - just don't want any misinterpretations about who did what. I was lucky to work on AVATAR and am very fortunate to work with such talented artists and craftsmen. The bust was a casting from a mold taken from a chavant clay sculpt. Chavant is a sulphur-free clay that does not harden and is a fantastic sculpting medium. I have in the past tried sculpey and a whole host of other mediums and chavant and Magic Sculpt are my favorites. Thanks again for all the kind words and I am glad so many people enjoyed the bust...I sure did!
