Good luck with what looks like a huge project. From what I have seen so far I think it will be very good. I like how you have painted the two figures so far and I look forward to seeing how this one turns out.

Hello Everyone,

Quick update on progress - The horse in the pictures is from an Italian company called "soldiers" the scene as depicted on the box is great and is called "banner in the mud"...however the horse (and the figure) were an absolute ba***rd to put together. Absolutely nothing fit, the casting was to say the least terrible (there was a gaping hole of about 10 cm below the horses tail), it took me about 6 hours work over three days and a lot of filler to get the horse to a relatively good state before I prime it and see if the primer brings out any more faults. I know filling in the seams is part of making figures, but rebuilding almost 1/4 of the horse is a bit ridiculous. Anyway the horse and rider are the last of the French contingent. The victorious Brits are coming next....

Aaaahhhh, primed the horse....where is that putty again!!! Expected that I would have to fix stuff after priming the horse...dissapointing as I have spent too much time on the horse, fixing bad moulding. Anyway...

Quick update...almost finished the horse...first full horse I have painted. Some final adjustments on the French soldiers and I am finished with the losers...and time to move on to the winners.
