For Lennart: I use a rolling pin and a lot of talcum. It's important to make this operation when the putty is almost hard.
For Garyjd: this is the first step. Then I put a little putty on the waist and around it.

Probably the best sbs I have seen to date on this site and that says quite a bit considering the world class talent that we have here on the Planet. I'm glad I have a very good high quality printer as I'm going to print every page and save them for reference.
