This is the new bust from Young. It is a great bust and a really easy paint. All the textures in the tunic are a blast to paint. I made the nose guard removable so I can look at his face and painted his shield to look more rudimentary like an ancient painted it. The face is probably the same as the LRDG bust but Young did a nice job of switching it up to be just different enough. I made the pictures huge in blow up mode so you can get a close look at him. I hope you likey.

Thanks gents & lady for the comments. Jay, you are correct about the painting. With all the time off for the holiday I put loads of time in on this guy. It was great fun. Oh and Jay, welcome back to Oklahoma sir!

Nice work Mike
Great tones, it does look like a nice quick one to do,a few have moaned about the mail but it looks good on your figure.(y)(y)(y)

Does this helmut have to be leather or can it be all steel as well.

Cheers Ron

Thanks for the comments fellas. I wouldn't consider myself a fast painter, more of a marathon painter. I got him on Wednesday and spent 3-4hrs on him after work, same thing on Thursday with 5hrs work on Friday. Now marathon time, Sunday I put in around 12hrs straight on him and 10hrs on Monday. So that is roughly 33+ hours spent on him. It is so much easier to get a lot done when you just start jamming on a figure for a long single sitting. Coulpe this with the speed of using acrylics and a hairdryer and you appear to be a fast painter. The paint is just flowing off the brush right now and I figure I better take advantage of it while I have it.

Thanks Kiwi, I like that little smurk he has going too.
