I have become increasingly interested in painting flats of late and I have to say I believe all my figure painting has improved as a result.

Good work Stephen. I too enjoy an occasional flat.....but a little bit bigger than 30mm. Excellent work my friend.
 
That ACW one has been on my wish list for a couple of months, nice job. The piper is really impressive, a tartan on a flat, scarrry
 
Here's another one of a few more, the jockeys/ horses are prtraits of the famous Arkle, Shergar, Desert Orchid and Best Mate.

Not for the faint at heart. I am in awe of your skill at painting flats. The Pickett's Charge flat is another I've been meaning to track down to try my hand at.
