Jose, nice to see one of the less "glamorous" regiments portrayed and a lovely job, too.

The 64th Foot won several battle honours in the AWI and became the Prince of Wales' North Staffordshire Regt in the 1780s and I think is the only regiment to have had black facings and turnbacks. Your version is a fitting tribute, IMO.

Very nice indeed. Only wish my eyes were better to paint this scale.
The 50th Also had black facings and were known as tha dirty half hundred. they became the West Kents.

Have to agree. They don't get the same kudos that certain other manufacturers get, but they do put out some nice pieces. I might well pick this one up because it is an era that I am interested in.

Good sculpt, and excellent painting! Will definitely add this to the collection. The painting bar is already set high on this one - from my first glance, I assumed this was a 75mm offering. To discover that it is, in fact, a 54mm sized piece was a surprise. Well done!

Surprised Mick didn't add that the 89th of Foot wore black facings, too. Later to become 2nd Battalion, the Royal Irish Fusiliers.

What about 58th Rutlandshire Regt, 64th Staffordshire Regt, 82nd Hamiltons Regt & 100th Loyal Lincolnshire Regt.
