Hello again to all, I am off on a cruise at beginning of October, which has a stop in Barcelona. My son has convinced me to take the trip to the Nou camp, not my cup of tea, which only takes about 4 hrs all in.
So the rest of the day is mine until the ship sails, my question is which is biggest, best and closest to port?
I have done some checking and found Samarkanda model shop, but cannot find it on Google maps?
I would love to see a model shop packed with painted models and kits to buy etc :)

Thanks in advance Michael

If you want to see lots of painted and unpainted figures I suggest you take a train to Girona. It's the home of Art Girona and when you visit their shop I'm convinced they will send you to Art Girona's HQ, which is in the beautiful old town as well, and houses the incredible collection of the company's owner, including many boxarts and orinal sculpts, eg. by Latorre.

Samarkanda was closed when I tried ti visit, but they can be found via their website?

PM me if you need more details.

Adrian

This link will take to where the Samarkanda shop location.

If you get a chance go to the Casa Battlo by Gaudi as well as other buildings whose names escape me on the Passeig de Gràcia. ( after the Placa de Catalunya) Camp Nou is an impressive stadium and the silver alone is impressive.

You might spend a bit of time traveling to and from Girona as its not that close.

Thank you both for info, Art Girona seems to be a no, as the ship sails at 6, not enough time to get there etc.
The Samarkanda shop does not seem to exist?
Thanks again. Michael
