Gents,
This is a Warriors 1:9th scale resin figure I finished a while back.
Due to his size I had hard time catching him within the lens.
Painted with acrylics, printer inks (metals) and oils (flesh).
Cheers,
A.

Arthur,

That is a big figure! The cape and the red beard really stand out. The chain mail is outstanding!!
What mix did you use for the red beard? It looks very real.

Rocky

Hi Arthur,

I love the large scale stuffmate. You've done a great job on your Big Boy.

He does look a bit clean from what I can see. Have you done any weathering on the shield, chainmail or leggings?

Cheers

Rocky,
I used a pure orange acrylic base with a series of progressively darker washes, highlited it with almost yellow orange and then blended everything with a coat of burnt sienna.

Tony,
I know this is "your " scale :)
He is "clean"... I figured since he is Saxon nobility he would take care of his clothing and weapons. I did not go for the "campaign" look but rather a ceremonial occasion.
He footwear is weathered a bit to show normal wear damage.

A.

Well done, Arthur! My kind of figure - chainmail, shields, Friday night pillaging...

Glen
