That's one hell of a fantastic cast of a bloody great little miniature. Blackwatch magic indeed.
Thank you very much Dr Bison. Hopefully it shouldn't be too far away commercially. If you have either Facebook or Instagram I posted a quick video up on my pages Ybrossculpts :)

Not only the thread, but the sculpture is phenomenal.
The finished piece is stunning, as I've mentioned before, there's so much character and detail in the head alone.
Makes me wish I'd tried my hand at sculpting when I started the hobby some 40 plus years ago.
Its got be a fantastic feeling to create something like this.

Hello Malcolm,

Thank you very much, glad you like what turned out so far.
You're never too old to start, and if you have the desire to make it happen, there's a good chance it will.
As I now cave a cast with me, here is a close up of the head details and the lower part of the torso/kilt

Cheers
Chris.

Hi Chris

As much as I'd like to have a try at sculpting I'm afraid having arthritis in both hands has put paid to that.
I'm just happy that I can still slap on a bit off paint to a reasonable degree.

Finally put one of the early test casts together, seems to fit well. Looking forward to seeing the release and what people can do with their brushes.
Many thanks to everyone that followed along the process and the fantastic words of support and feedback.

Hi Kevin,

I'm very humbled and appreciative of the response from everyone that followed this project. It turned out to be a bit of a sculpting journey, something that wasn't really intended, but I'm pleased it happened.

Cheers
Chris.
