Hi Ray, ah yes I can visualise the Pirate now, I am surprised to hear that they were by Series 77, I was a big fan of the Series 77 figures and have a box full of them that I never got round to starting but for some reason when I saw the Goodman figure I associated the Landsknect with it, perhaps it was a period when larger scale figures had surfaced.
Do you know if the Landsknect is available under another manufacture, I wouldn't mind having a go at building one for nostalgia.
Good to chat.
All the best.

I'd like one too, and there was one on E-Bay about 6months ago, but it was in the USA and would have cost a fortune in postage. As far as I know, no-one has produced them since. Try and cast your mind back to the base of the figure, and you'll find it's a larger version of the standard 77s (round, with a chunk out of the front). I also bought from UTF the 1/12th scale sets of armour that 77 produced, I think there were 3 seporate sets, with pole arms in the same scale. Do you remember them? Ray

Hi Ray I can remember someone producing sets of armour but couldn't of said what manufacture it was, I know I have a nice wee series 77 figure called Dawn of a new age (a French revolution figure with a sentry box) perhaps you recall that one. I haven't bothered with the hobby for well over 20 years but never could resist lifting Military Modelling and having a sneak peak in the local newsagents, so tempted by the ever growing range of resin busts that were available I gave in and bought a couple last Christmas so we are back on board struggling with the eyesight and not managing very well with the new medium of acrylic painting and slipping back into painting with oils, however I am enjoying it and its great using the web for the hobby it keeps the motivation going.
