I would like to paint the inner corners of teh eyes of a 1200 mm figurewith abit fo red to simluate real eyes but not sure what colur to use. Becasue I think this can be easliy overdone. i ususally paint in oils so any colur suggesestions appreciated.

I just did this last night as a matter of fact! I would mix up cad red and either black or raw umber until youget a very deep-dull red. Be careful with this in 120mm. I did it on my 1/9 scale bust and you can just barely tell I did it. A better sugestion for blood shot eyes might be to make your base color for the eyes (the whites of the eyes) more pinkish than you would normaly. this might give just the right touch of "blood-shot" you need at this scale. All you might really need i a bit darker shade in there to get the effect. Good luck!

I would add a touch of crimson to your base "off white" eye ball color. Add to the inside edges and feather it in toward the pupil.
