I’m currently working on this Stormtrooper
. I’m guessing this was a coat from the 44th Regiment of Foot from the battle of the Monongahela. The box art shows lace with no lines and some other illustrations, including Griffing’s paintings suggest the lines were not always there.
Does anyone know if painting this figure without the regimental color in the lace would be reasonably accurate?
