Brass colour using oil paint.

Hi all,

What oil paint combination woul I need to mix to make a decent brass colour for the scabbard I am painting? I'm thinking of a dull brass colour. Any help would be very much appreciated.

What metallics do you have? Unless you'll be painting the brass effect as an illusion (NMM - non-metallic metals) the quality of your metal paints are everything when it comes to how well painting metals works.
