Unlike a lot of dioramas the composition is tight. All too often the figures are spaced so far apart there is too much in the way of dead space. Bob's diorama gives the illusion of a much larger scene involving more figures than what can be seen.~Gary

AWESOME WORK,Bob (y) (y) (y) !!!!! I can almost hear the rattle of the machine-guns and the neighing of the terrified horses!! WELL DONE !
Kenneth.

Look how the leaning trees add to the chaotic impression.

Careful composition always pays and in this instance, it's simply masterful.

WoW Bob this takes my breath, I just discovered this build, thanks for charring this build with us.
This brings up memories, of what my grandmother ones told me.
When the Uhlanen stormed with there horses through the city of Hasselt after they where forced back by the belgian forces.
They where so furious that everyone who walked in the street, and did not get the time to go out of the way, where literally cut down by their swords.

Haven't seen this in a while.A great piece, one of my favorites.Tavis does fantastic work.Look up some of his other works.

Another great work - action and drama in one compact, exciting package.

This is every bit as good as your other works, especially the "Zoot Suit Riots". However, nothing holds a candle to "Strange Fruit". I saw it in person at SCAHMS and it is incredibly moving and creates so many emotions.

I still haven't started on the one you were gracious enough to offer advice on - "Welcome Home, Heroes" - maybe one of these days...

Looking forward to seeing your next masterpiece.

Jim
