That's very cool Valdimir! Maybe a little bit too heroic pose, but still love it (reminds me of Dragon's Tet Offensive Marines kit, my first figures:))!
The grenadier jacket is a nice touch too!

Vlad, its a wonderful sculpt and very Hollywood, but not exactly realistic. The M60 machine gun is far too heavy to fire single handed in this manner, even if a sling is worn.

I know, I tried to do it many times without much success (I saw Rambo too many times).

The difficulties in holding and firing the M60 one-handed would be compounded trying to carry a man over your shoulders at the same time.

I'd swap the M60 with the M203

Many thanks,my friends!
Indeed, M60 shoulder sling (from lead foil or paper) must be add across left shoulder.
Let it be my little tribute for "hollywoodisation"!))
Tony, great idea,I`ll add Stoner M203 in this set as option. Thanks!

Hello Vladi,

absolut amazing. These are the best of all. You have so brilliant captured the movement and pose. The Detail and the great looking Seal vest of the wounded guy are top Level. Also you can really seen the weight on the shoulder of the gunner on the knee position. Great done. The M60 shorty is a great choice because of it´s weight in compinion of the standard M60. So he could carry it this way and with a sling no Problem. These are the crown juwels of your work i think.

Applaus, Applaus :)

Stefan

Very nice and yes a bit Hollywood, but thats OK
Just FYI, the Stoner is the M63, not 203. And I actually watched a fellow Marine fire a full size M60 one handed from the hip like this on a bet that he couldn't do it like Rambo. He was about 5'5" tall but a weight lifter and he got off a full 50 round belt...before the thing jammed. And he didn't use the sling! But he wasn't doing the firemans carry while firing it, either. Just for looking cool, I would always take the Stoner over the M60, and it immediately says "SEAL".
Cheers

fantastic....!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Vladi these figures are very fine indeed.....i just saw(imagine...) them in a rank/queue in the jungle ,behind other your navy seals code 35034 and 35023 with pow and evantually the cong 35013, walking to reach same local sampan ,to leave the jungle after a mission.....very fine indeed!!!
Have you in your near project the idea to realize same other advancing navy seal, may be one african american without hat .....if no in my future project i ll must change the heads of same of your Platoon figures to realize other navy seal that will close my queue......eh eh eh !!!
Changing series, in tet marine serie you ll realize one doctor with one wounded figure or more wounded figure?
Third question.....my usual question....when do you ll realize Big Harold and Junior. of Platoon series? I am waiting for them too...and i am no alone!!!!!!!!

Fantastic figures and project .....i repeat my congratulation as i did every time!!!
PS: THESE NEW navy seal figures , are separated or sculpted togheter ,one on the shoulder of the other?
Bye

Thanks!!!
Mario, really I planned all 3 SEALs sets for combine together. While I`m not continue SEALs,but I`ll be make pair of afro-american marines. One set will be continue kneeling medic figure near wounded (so typical scene for many vietnam war photos) and another sets with wounded figures-supporting and draging.
About Junior and Big Harold I`d like to say that prepare this set especially for you nearest time!)))))
These SEALs are 2 separate figures, only left arm of MGunner is together with grenadier leg.
Vladi

Hi again Vladi,

looking at the photos, is the wounded guy wearing Coral swim shoes? If so, that another nice addition, they were light greyish blue I think.
