Although Vietnam is my main area of interest, the wars in Rhodesia also interest me. Thanks to Vladimir Demchenko for sending me Bravo 6's new releases, I have started to make a vignette with the figures from his first Selous Scouts kit. I just primed them a few minutes ago and plan to start painting them tomorrow with the Hope's of completing them before the Tulsa Figure Show.

Thanks for looking.

Interesting that the figures depict scouts in their cover story as Army trackers and not in their primary role. ( See Pamwe Chete Page 75). I'm grabbing a set to get painted up as members of the Combat Tracker unit, maybe a couple of Territorials who contributed to the fight. Fingers crossed for more in this series......

I am sure you can count on more from this series.

Really interesting subject choice James and interesting to see these figures. The only other ones I was aware of were a couple from Andy Cairns at AC Models. Always hoped someone would do a rendition of the Selous Scout “standard” bearer (I’m sure there is a correct term for the “standard” but I’m not sure of it off the top of my head). Looking forward to seeing how you tackle these.
